My name is UKACHUKWU DAISY AMARACHI

I’m a girl in my early twenties from Imo state, Obowo precisely and I reside in Umuahia Abia state Nigeria.

 However, I became an AGYW( Adolescent Girls and Young Women) champion, and a Peer Educator at TEEN AID Int’l  Organization ,an organization that specializes in the well-being and health status of teenagers and young adults.

Also a Student Nurse in training under the institute for basic medical sciences, Abia state University.

I have been privileged to serve as a Departmental health director.

Community facilitator on Retroviral,

Teen Advocate and Peer Educator,

Adolescent girls’ preceptor on Gender-based violence and

Community Health outreach volunteer I have considerable enthusiasm for health, and most importantly to reach out to young people and to contribute to the eradication of common health problems of people in the society.

Meet Chidera Godfrey

Meet Chidera Godfrey

Chidera Godfrey, a dedicated youth advocate, draws on his personal journey as a young boy diagnosed with HIV in Nigeria, where LGBTQ individuals face criminalization. As the State Secretary for the Association of Positive Youths Living with HIV/AIDS in Nigeria, Chidera works tirelessly to overcome barriers to HIV and sexual health services created by harsh laws. His role involves raising awareness about HIV prevention, including safer sex practices, PrEP, PEP, and emerging biomedical tools. Chidera is committed to empowering young people by promoting access to testing, counseling, and treatment adherence.

In addition to his local efforts Given his passion to advance gender equality and human rights, Chidera engages in advocacy at the community, national, and global levels, striving for inclusive policies and programs for marginalized communities. He actively participates in the community scorecard at health facilities to identify gaps in HIV service delivery. Serving as a member of Gender and human right steering committee in his state, where he is reporting issues of right violations of especially LGBTIQ persons, currently serving as a fellow with the Global HIV Vaccine Enterprise-International AIDS Society, Chidera contributes to accelerating demand for an inclusive HIV vaccine in Africa and globally. His overarching goal is to ensure that all young people are well-informed, empowered, and able to voice their health needs.

Meet Afikode Oluwafunmike Adesewa


I am a graduate of Food science from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology
Ogbomosho, with over 4 years of hands-on experience in Electronic Data Entry
Clerk (EDEC) and Monitoring and evaluation officer (M&E) across different donor funded projects including Center for Integrated Health Programs-PEARL Project,
Lagos, Gowon Estate Hospital Project. In my current role, I am responsible for Entry
of new patients ‘information, including but not limited to that of enrollment,
initiation, visit/drug pick-up, clinical encounters, drug administration, adherence,
and side-effects, on the electronic medical records provided for use. Daily
update of existing patients’ information, Review daily entries for completeness.
and correctness of data, verify entered data by reviewing, correcting, making.
changes to data in electronic medical records etc.
I have a good knowledge and understanding of the national PMM tools, MS word,
electronic medical record systems (NMRS) and deployment of database systems
for patient monitoring an access and excellent interpersonal skills

David, a committed member of the LGBTQ+ community, is celebrated for his proactive engagement in community outreach and communication. He passionately advocates for the Momentum Support Initiative (TMSl), dedicating his efforts to amplifying awareness about the healthcare issues faced by LGBTQ+ individuals. David is eager to dive into projects that centers around mental health and human rights and also providing support for the LGBTQ+ community. David’s passion fuels his tireless advocacy, embodying a spirit of inclusivity and empowerment within the community. Through his dedication, he strives to foster understanding, support, and progress for LGBTQ+ individuals well-being.

Meet The 2024 LeNNiB Champions…

Kayode Tolulope Titilope is a young smart lady who hails from Ondo state.

Tolu is a Christian and she loves reading, cooking, drawing, communicating and meeting new people. Tolu holds a Degree in Political. Science from  Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba. 

Tolu is a focus, self-oriented, self motivated and diligent lady. Tolu is a facilitator, advocate, counsellor and a  Peer Navigator. She has passion for advocacy on health, gender based violence, sexual abuse, girl child rights and human rights. She is an advocate of Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights, HIV/AIDs. She  has years of experience as a Peer Navigator under Intensive Combination Approach To Rollback Epidemic Among Nigerian Adolescents (iCare) and she is currently a volunteer at Female and More(FAM).

I believe this LeNNiB  Champions Mentorship Program will enhance my communication, counselling and most significantly my advocacy skills…
