A Condom is a highly effective contraceptive that prevents unwanted pregnancy and protects against various types of sexually transmitted infections [STI] when used correctly and consistently. it is about 98% effective!
Condoms should to be stored in places that are not too hot or cold,  and away from sharp or rough surfaces that could tear them. They should never be used more than once. Using two condoms together during sexual intercourse is never advised as it can cause friction between them, thereby weakening the material and increasing the chance of a condom break. Note that if your male partner uses a condom, a female condom should not be used simultaneously. Condoms remain the only tool that has the ability to offer dual protection. No other method of birth control has been successful at protecting people against sexually  transmitted diseases  [STDs].
